THE COST

[PRICE] a month. That covers [WHAT'S INCLUDED], with nothing bolted on at checkout. [CANCELLATION TERMS]. It isn't the cheapest number in this category and we won't pretend otherwise — what you're paying for is the medication and a provider who stays reachable after you've started.

Depends on: price, inclusions, cancellation terms

THE NEEDLE

You're picturing something bigger than it is. It's a [VIAL/PEN], [FREQUENCY], into the fat of your stomach or thigh, with a needle short enough that most people say the alcohol wipe is the worse part. The first one is the only awkward one. [HOW THE FIRST INJECTION IS SUPPORTED].

Depends on: medication form, injection frequency, first-dose support

THE SIDE EFFECTS

Nausea is the common one, and it usually turns up in the days after a dose goes up. Some people get it mildly, some get it badly, and we can't tell you in advance which you'll be. If it hits, message your provider [VIA CHANNEL]. That's a clinical call and it belongs with the practitioner who prescribed for you.

Depends on: your answer that side effects go to a practitioner; contact channel

THE TIME IT TAKES

Intake runs about [X] minutes on your phone. A provider reviews what you wrote and comes back [RESPONSE TIME]. After that, the medication side of this is a few minutes a week. We'll also check in by email and text as you go, asking how it's going and whether anything's worrying you. You can ignore those, and plenty of people do.

Depends on: intake length, provider response time, your email/SMS follow-up

KEEPING IT OFF

Straight answer: we don't push this conversation on you. If you want to know what maintenance looks like, or what coming off would involve, ask and a provider will walk you through it properly. Some people want it mapped out at month one and some would rather not think about it yet, and we've left it to you which one you are.

Depends on: your answer that this is raised when the patient inquires

TALKING TO A DOCTOR

Nobody here is going to lecture you about willpower. The intake asks what you've already tried, because most people who get this far have tried a lot of things. And if a provider decides you're not a good candidate, you're told so and you're not charged. No medication, and nothing to cancel later.

Depends on: your answer that non-candidates are declined and not charged
